Bus safety discussed at SES Oct. 28

Salisbury High School will have photo retakes Oct. 27 and Salisbury Elementary School will have retakes Nov. 1. Please remember to bring your original photos with you to return for the new ones to be taken.
Salisbury Middle School will have health screenings Oct. 28. Look for that information to be sent home with your student.
There will be a bus safety conversation night held at SES 7 p.m. Oct. 28. This will be a brief presentation and conversation regarding the safety of students on school buses.
The much anticipated SES Halloween Parade will take place 2 p.m. Oct. 29. Please look for information regarding this event to be sent home with your elementary students.
Salisbury Township will hold trick or treat 6-8 p.m. Oct. 29. Please remember that evening to turn your porch light off if you do not want the ghosts and goblins of the township to knock on your door for treats. Also please remember to be extra cautious while driving home from work that day. Our streets quickly become packed with those participating.
The annual Salisbury Elementary Book Fair will begin Nov. 1. Please look for information to be sent home with your student. This is an amazing opportunity to get books for your students.There is always a great variety to choose from.
All Salisbury Township schools will be closed Nov. 2 for a teacher in-service day. School will resume for all students Nov. 3.
The SES PTO is holding a vendor and craft fair 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 6. They are still accepting applications for crafters and vendors. Please reach out to Devon Dredge at dmdredge52408@gmail.com for more information.
The township yard waste sites continue to be open alternating weekends for your drop off needs. Hours for drop off are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The Franko Farm drop-off will be open Nov. 1, 4 and 6 while the Devonshire drop-off will be open Nov. 8 and 13. The Devonshire site will be closed Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day.
