Roland “Rollie” W. Bealer, 73, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 15, 2021. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Bertram L. Sr. and Marion V. (Longenour) Bealer. He was the husband of Karen (Kraemer) Bealer for 50 years.
He was a 1966 graduate of Liberty HS.
He was in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years until he retired. After retiring, he worked for Lehigh Valley Foreign Auto Parts for several years. He was a former assistant scoutmaster for Troop 322, Bethlehem. He coached for the Bethlehem Steelers and Lehigh Little League. He was a member of Lehigh Valley Quarter Midget Club, the Jeff’s, and the Blue Mountain and Sportsman Rod and Gun clubs.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Audra Bittner and her husband Scott of Coopersburg; a son, Brett Bealer and his wife Heather of Springbrook Township; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Abigail Bealer; a brother, Bertram L. Bealer Jr.; mother-in-law, Dorothy Kraemer; and six nephews and their families.
