There are two candidates seeking the seat on Allen Township Board of Supervisors: Timothy E. Paul, cross-filed as Democrat and Republican, and Alfred S. Pierce, Independent. Voters will choose one in the Nov. 2 election.
Both candidates are on the ballot for open seats serving six- and two-year terms.
The candidates were asked to respond to the following question in 100 words or less:
What do you see as the most important issue for voters in this election?
ALFRED S. PIERCE
We need a comprehensive plan for public water and sewer. We need a capital plan for our parks, particularly along the Lehigh River.
Paul did not respond.
