Ernest F. Cser, 79, of Trexlertown and formerly of Allentown, died Oct. 6. 2021, at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown.

Born in Laurys Station, he was the son of the late Frank E. Sr. and Cecelia A. (Wechsler) Cser.

He served his country as a SP4 in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was last employed as a laborer for the Lafarge Cement Company, Whitehall, for many years, before retiring in 1997. Earlier, he worked for the former Tarkett Flooring, Whitehall, as a printer for several years.

He is survived by a son, Michael E. and his wife Jonica of Columbia, S.C.; four brothers, Richard of Wakefield, Va., Joseph and his wife Mary Ellen of Northampton, Michael and his wife Rose Ann of Slatington and James and his wife Marie of Allentown; three sisters, Linda Schmall and her husband Dennis of Coplay, Cecelia Morgan and her husband George of Whitehall and Rosemarie Lamb of Bath; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, John Sr. and Frank Jr.
