Coplay Public Library: Have fun playing board games at library Nov. 10
Board game night will be 5-7 p.m. Nov. 10. The library has new games for you to try, or you can bring your favorite.

Reminder: Join us for early literacy storytime, planned for 11-11:45 a.m. Thursdays, Oct. 28 and Nov. 4, 11 and 18. There will a special craft or game. Any age is welcome.
The program will be held outdoors, weather permitting. If we need to move indoors, everyone ages 2 or older must wear a mask.

The library is planning to hold a stuffing/filling/dressing contest Nov. 20. The more entries we have, the better the contest will be. The top three entries will be named winners.

Local author Christian Bensing and illustrator Timothy Feather are visiting the library 11 a.m.-noon Nov. 21. They’ll be reading their newest book in the Tucker and Zoey Adventures, “The Bath War.”
You’ll have a chance to ask questions, get their autographs, purchase their books and get your picture taken with one of their giant dog cutouts.
This event is free, but please preregister by going to our website events calendar.
In the meantime, read the first two books in the series, “The Bone War” and “The Bed War,” both available at the library.

The library will close 5 p.m. Nov. 24 and will be closed Nov. 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday.Normal operating hours resume 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 26.

The library’s book discussion group will next meet 4-4:30 p.m. Nov. 24. Note the time change due to the library closing early.

We are now fine free! The boards of the 12 libraries in the Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative have adopted a policy not to charge fines for most overdue materials.

All visitors, including vaccinated individuals and children over 2, are required to wear masks while in the library. Curbside services are available for those who do not wish to come into the library.
