To the Editor:
David Kennedy and I have been married for 49 years and have lived in South Whitehall Township for 31 years.
He has served on the South Whitehall Township Public Safety Commission for the past 25 years, carefully listening to the requests by developers and homeowners while making recommendations about waivers, always putting public safety first.
He has also served on the Parkland School Board for 22 years.
He is dedicated in his commitment to volunteer his time for the community.
As a Parkland Board of School director and liaison to Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in budgeting, audits, union contracts, negotiating and personnel.
I know firsthand the number of nights he has spent attending meetings along with full day budget seminars.
He speaks up and supports what is right even when he is in the minority.
He has been endorsed by Diane Kelly and Mike Wolk, both current South Whitehall Township commissioners, Monica Hodges, who is a candidate for South Whitehall Township commissioner, South Whitehall Township Concerned Citizens and South Whitehall for Integrity and Transparency.
It’s time for change in South Whitehall Township.
David promotes sensible growth, watchful spending and transparent government; that is why I will vote for him for South Whitehall Township commissioner on Nov. 2 and I urge you to do the same.
