The Neffs Clovers 4-H Club is starting a woodworking project this fall.
Members will be under the instruction of a skilled craftsman to learn wood working tools, their purpose and how to use them.
Club members will work toward making their own handcrafted piece.
To become a part of this experience youth must be registered with Lehigh County 4-H program and join the Neffs Clovers 4-H Club.
In addition to the woodworking projects, the Neffs club offers other hands-on projects such as sewing, as well as other great opportunities to learn practical skills and knowledge, leadership skills and make new friends.
Lehigh County 4-H partners with many youth serving agencies, child-care centers, and schools to provide high quality curriculum, activities, and programming for youth ages 5-18.
They welcome teachers and youth development professionals to inquire about how 4-H can partner with them.
For more information about the above event or other 4-H activities, call the Lehigh 4-H office at 610-391-9840 or email LehighExt@psu.edu.
