Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is accepting orders until Nov. 1 for its homemade candy sale.

Choose from light or dark chocolate peanut clusters, raisin clusters, peanut butter, covered pretzels, light chocolate caramels, light chocolate peanut butter peanut roll, medium chocolate nonpareils, dark chocolate peppermint parties or an assortment.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, is having a soup and sandwich takeout fundraiser.

Vegetable beef soup and chicken corn chowder, in quart sizes, are available.

Chipped turkey sandwiches with or without cheese or chipped ham with or without cheese on a kaiser roll also will be sold.

A variety of desserts and drinks will also be available to purchase at time of pickup.

Deadline to order is Oct. 29. Pick up is 4-6 p.m. Nov. 4.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will be holding its Boo at the Zoo Oct. 23-34 and 30-31.

Trick-or-treat each day 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at any candy/treat station throughout the zoo.

Enjoy music and dancing with DJ Ray from Fling-a-Things from noon to 2 p.m.

And, do not forget to check out the themed crafts and activities plus the pumpkin patch and more.

Come by on Halloween Day for a costume contest at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

This event is included in a regular admission ticket on Oct. 31.
