Whitehall Township Halloween parade, held Oct. 7, was reportedly well received. The township’s recreation bureau would like to thank the parade participants and sponsors for their support.
There were three winners for the parade. Klingler’s House of Horror won for best appearance; Superior Towing won for most original; and Pennsylvania Performing Arts Center won most spirited.
Main sponsors included Affordable Pet Center Inc., Decor Home Furniture, Jay H. Gilbert and Family, Growing Tree Child Care Center, Horwith Trucks Inc., Keycodes Inspection Agency, Michael Ann and Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation, Michael Dee and Thomas Slonaker, Schadt Avenue Park and Playground Association, The Rink at Lehigh Valley and Whitehall Lions Club.
Individual sponsors included CARE Chiropractic Center, Handyboy Inc., Manors of the Valley, Neffs National Bank, Ondrejca Chiropractic Center, Pennsylvania Performing Arts Center, Teamsters Local Union 773 and Triboro Youth Soccer Club.
A portion of the Affordable Pet Center sponsorship provided lighting for the parade route, and Rockin’ Ramaley provided the sound system for the judging stand. Jake Kaligis and Crippled Moonshine entertained at the bonfire. At Home allowed the use of the lower parking lot to stage the parade, with assistance from Whitehall’s Emergency Management Team.
Food trucks at the bonfire included Hoff’s Kettle Corn, McKenzie’s Cruisin’ Kart, the Perk Up Truck and Vince’s Cheesesteaks.
