Paul Pristash, 88, of Whitehall, died Oct. 8, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Anna C. (Chabon) for 62 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Fedor and Tanka (Salasky) Pristash.
He was in the U.S. Army.
He worked in public relations for Lincoln Technical Institute for 21 years until he retired in 2004. He was a buyer at Hess’s for more than 18 years.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton, where he volunteered with pierogi making and was the choir director for many years.
He was a member of Northampton Veterans of Foreign War Post 4714.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Patricia and her husband Robert Aroniss; a son, David and his wife Robyn; five grandchildren, Meghan Kish with Ryan, Jessica Metzger with Thomas and Joshua, Drake and Britani Pristash; three great-grandchildren, Alexander Kish, Julianna Kish and Maggie Metzger; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by five brothers, Peter, Stephen, John, Jake and Michael Pristash; and six sisters, Margaret Radio, Julia Shara, Helen Pristash, Ann Pristash, Catherine Pristash and Mary McGuire.
