Lillie I. Davis, 79, of Egypt, died Oct. 12, 2021, in her home. She was the wife of the late Larry H. Davis Sr.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Henry R. Sr. and Lorraine (Wright) Heckman.
She was employed as a seamstress by the former Cross Country Clothes/Botany 500 Group, Northampton and Allentown.
She was a member of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union.
She enjoyed playing bingo at the Northampton Memorial Community Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda L. and her husband Joseph Coulter of Little River, S.C., and Carol Ann with whom she resided; two grandsons, Larry and James; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three sisters, Patricia and her husband Stephen Sommer of Lehigh Township, Faith Lackner of Cementon and Rosemarie Lackner of Egypt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Larry H. Jr.; four sisters, Charmaine Watson, Linda Deeble, Dorothea Klobosits and Shirley Sechler; and two brothers, Henry R. Jr. and Robert C.
