Janice A. Saeger, 71, of Mertztown, died Oct. 17, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of Thom E. Saeger. They celebrated 52 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Leona M. (Ibach) and the late Douglas M. Olson.

She was employed by Rodale Publishing and Day-Timer®.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

She leaves behind a beautiful garden and her loving and devoted family.

She is survived by her husband; mother; daughters, Alison, Emily and her husband, Jonathan Evans; grandchildren, Liana Panik, Hannah, Madeline and Abigale Evans; brothers, Rev. Douglas M. Olson II and his wife, Kathy and Scott M. Olson and his partner, Charles; sisters, Linda and her husband, Tom Gettings and Nancy and her husband, Tom Heist.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A calling hour will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Oct. 22 in the funeral home.
