Jane Ellen Fisher, 85, of Slatington, died Oct. 9, 2021, at her residence. She was the wife of Ralph E. Fisher Sr. for 63 years.

Born in Selinsgrove, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth (Hoover) Spots.

She was a 1954 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.

She worked for Shell Diner for five years before moving to Coopersburg. She then worked for various factories throughout the years, last working as a printer with Allison Manufacturing Company, Allentown, for five years, retiring in the 1980s.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ralph E. Jr. of Center Valley and Dennis of Slatington; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Jeanie Marks.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. memorial service, Nov. 3 at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville. Masks must be worn, regardless of vaccination status.

Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund or Lehigh Valley Hospice.
