Ernest F. Cser, 79, of Trexlertown, formerly of Allentown, died Oct. 6, 2021, in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown.
Born Aug. 2, 1942, in Laurys Station, he was the son of the late Frank E. Cser Sr. and Cecelia A. (Wechsler) Cser.
He was last employed as a laborer for LaFarge Cement Co., Whitehall, for many years before retiring in 1997.
Before that, he was a printer for the former Tarkett Flooring, Whitehall, for several years.
He served his country as a Specialist 4 in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
His survivors include a son Michael E. Cser and wife, Jonica, of Columbia, S.C.; brothers Richard Cser of Wakefield, Va., Joseph Cser and wife, Mary Ellen, of Northampton, Michael Cser and wife, RoseAnn, of Slatington, and James Cser and wife, Marie, of Allentown; sisters Linda Schmall, wife of Dennis, of Coplay, Cecelia Morgan, wife of George of Whitehall, and Rosemarie Lamb of Bath; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers John Sr. and Frank Jr.
Public graveside services with military honors will be 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 21 at Our Lady of Hungary Church Cemetery, Northampton.
