Doris J. Reitz, 88, died Oct. 12, 2021, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late Mark T. Reitz.

Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Mildred (Kleckner) Handwerk.

She was a 1951 graduate of Whitehall High School.

She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Evangelical Lutheran Church, Egypt, where she sang on the choir for many years.

She volunteered as a den mother for several Cub Packs in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

She is survived by two sons, Robert M. and his wife Carol of Whitehall and Dale M. and his wife Eileen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Schock of Allentown; two brothers, Ronald and his wife Pam of Allentown and Gary and his wife Lynne of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor “Skip” Greenamoyer.
