Agnes R. Gackenbach, 95, formerly of Emmaus, died Oct. 14, 2021, in DevonHouse Senior Living. She was the wife of the late John D. “Jack” Gackenbach. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late George and Katarina (Skroblus) Luksys.

She worked as a billing specialist for Mack Trucks in the International headquarters from 1963 until retiring in 1988.

She was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem and a former member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, Emmaus, where she sang in the choir.

She was a member of the Emmaus Garden Club and the Republican Club.

She is survived by daughters, Jayne Snyder, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Leslie and her husband, Mason Goodloe, of San Jose, Calif.; grandchildren, Caterina Snyder and Robert Teace Snyder. She was predeceased by 13 siblings.
