State Police Troop L, Hamburg, are asking for help to identify the man who took a generator from a home in the 900 block of Krumsville Road, Greenwich Township, Berks County.
According to police, at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 27 the man arrived at the Krumsville Road home in a silver, four-door Dodge Neon.
The car did not appear to have hubcaps leaving just the black rim.
He exited the front passenger side of the car and went onto the rear porch at the home and removed a red Honda EU2200i generator valued at approximately $1,999.99.
Police say after removing the generator, the man returned to the car and fled in an unknown direction.
Police say the man was wearing a black “Champion” hooded sweatshirt and black “Champion” sweatpants.
He also appears to have a tattoo on his face in the area of his left temple.
Anyone with information pertaining to the identity of the suspect is asked to contact state police at 610-562-6885.
