Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, is staging a virtual basket party now through Oct. 29.
Visit the church website at ulclv.org or its Facebook page to purchase chances and select baskets.
Winners will be announced Oct. 30.
Baskets may be picked up 1-4 p.m. on Oct. 30; 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 31; or 4-7 p.m. on Nov. 1 and 2.
Photos and descriptions of basket contents are on the website.
Contactless payment options are available. Proceeds benefit youth programs.

Union Lutheran will have a drive-through Blessing of the Animals 1-2 p.m. Oct. 17.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, invites everyone to S’mores in the Grove 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 17.
Have some community fellowship while enjoying hot dogs, snacks, beverages and S’mores around a campfire.
Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
Pastors Kris Snyder-Samuelson and Kayli Freeman report this is an opportunity to “laugh S’more and worry less.”

Union Lutheran and Union United Church of Christ will host trunk or treat 1-3 p.m. Oct. 23.
This is a free, fun-filled family event which provides a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating.
Vehicle trunks will be decorated, and people can go from car to car to gather treats.
Children can begin at the Lutheran lower parking lot or the UCC grove parking lot and walk from one location to the other through the cemetery.

Faith Wesleyan Church will be welcoming children to trunk or treat at the Schnecksville Fire Company from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 23.
Vehicle trunks will be decorated for Halloween or other themes.
The event includes pony rides, games, an inflatable slide, a petting zoo, and refreshments.
Kids may come in costume. Everything is free.
