Whitehall’s Kristine Landis tied for eighth among the girls at the District 11 golf match on Tuesday.

Landis finished with a 99, including a back nine score of 46, to finish plus-27.

Landis parred hole two and hold eight on the front nine and added three more pars on the back nine, including holes 13 and 14 and finished off her round with a par on hole 18.

Landis shot 53 on the front.

Emmaus’s Evelyn Wong finished three-over with a round of 75 to win the event. She was three shots ahead of Saucon’s Emma Shelby who had a 78. Shelby trailed by five after the front nine and birdied three holes on the back but came up short.

Liberty’s Matt Vital won the boys tournament with a two-under 70, one shot ahead of Emmaus’s Matt Zerfass who carded a one-under 71.

The Hurricanes won the team title.
