An unnamed cement contractor failed to provide a refund of a deposit for work allegedly not done at a location on Woodridge Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between Sept. 20 and Oct. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft by deception or fraud
APCI Federal Credit Union, Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, refunded $3,548.74 to a person in a case of fraud, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Oct. 8.
Harassment
A 34-year-old female, of Macungie, was arrested for alleged continuous attempts to communicate with another person by phone calls, voicemails, text messages and social media at a location on Brunswick Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 6 p.m. Oct. 6 after a protection from abuse order was issued but not yet served, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The 34-year-old female allegedly told the victim the communication would not stop until the PFA was served.
Identity theft
A resident of the 7100 block of Heather Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned someone attempted to file for unemployment benefits in the resident’s name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 3:55 p.m. Oct. 4.
A resident of the 3900 block of West Minor Street, Upper Milford Township, learned someone attempted to file for unemployment benefits in the resident’s name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 5:40 p.m. Sept. 23.
A resident of the 3500 block of Lenape Lane, Upper Milford Township, learned someone attempted to file for unemployment benefits in the resident’s name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 1:36 p.m. Sept. 28.
Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville investigators are pursuing cases of identity theft on Brookstone Drive, Sequoia Drive, Pembrooke Drive, all in Lower Macungie Township and one case on Stole Road, Upper Milford Township, between June 8 and Sept. 4.
Criminal mischief
A right rear tire of a vehicle was damaged at a location on Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, between Sept. 5 and Sept. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
