Robert A. Mintzer, 76, of Orefield, died Oct. 11, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Nancy J. (Pry) Mintzer, were married 56 years.

Born Oct. 13, 1944, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Albert F. and Marguerite A. (Rothrock) Mintzer.

Employed at Sears, Pillsbury and Mack Trucks Inc. before retiring, he also owned and operated a residential contracting company.

He was a member of Hope Community Church, Fogelsville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Denise K. Bergstresser (Jon) of Allentown, Jeffrey S. Mintzer of Schuylkill Haven, Roger B. Mintzer (Anna) of Emmaus, Kimberly A. Schwoyer (Chet) of Williamsport; brother James L. Mintzer (Judy) of Germansville; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandsons.

He was predeceased by a brother, Charles A. Mintzer.

A private memorial service will be held Oct. 16 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

There will be no public calling hours.
