To the Editor:
There will be an open space referendum on Lower Macungie Township’s Tuesday, Nov. 2 ballot. If passed, this would preserve, maintain and improve hundreds of acres of open space in our township. Instead of adding hundreds of houses, we would continue to view cornfields, meadows and wildlands.
Nature can’t vote, but we can.
To quote Joni Mitchell “they paved paradise to put up a parking lot.”
In Lower Macungie Township that doesn’t have to be our path.
Vote yes to the open space referendum at the Nov. 2. election.
