There will be a fall barbecue dinner 4-7 p.m. Oct. 17 by Bad Bones BBQ at Egypt Memorial Park, 4548 Main St.

The dinner will consist of barbecued chicken or pulled pork sandwich with pasta salad and parsley potatoes.

The youth group of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, will be hosting a designer purse bingo and basket raffle Oct. 17.

Doors open 11:30 a.m. Bingo begins 12:30 p.m.

There will be special games, a basket raffle and a 50/50 drawing. Homemade food, desserts and nonalcoholic beverages will be available to purchase.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will sponsor a Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative free takeout community meal 4-6:30 p.m. Oct. 19.

Each meal will consist of shepherd’s pie, a roll, an apple and a dessert.

Laurel Fire Company, 5114 Third St., Cementon, will be offering an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Oct. 24.

There is a cost. Breakfast is free for children under 4.

Breakfast foods available include eggs, sausage, bacon, French toast, hash browns, toast and beverages.
