Debra Kay Ginder, 67, of Macungie, formerly of New Smithsville, died Oct. 9, 2021, at home surrounded by family and friends. She was the wife of the late John A. Ginder for 36 years until his death in December 2011. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Lillian M. (Kuhns) Trumbauer.
She retired in 2015 as an office manager at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest.
After graduating from Shippensburg State College, she taught typing and business skills in Quakertown.
She had a lifelong passion for sewing, gardening, and baking, but was happiest with her toes in the sand on a beach with a good book. In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, traveling and volunteering at the Lowhill Food Pantry. She also volunteered for the former Snack Pack program at Northwestern Lehigh School District.
She was a longtime member of Ziegels United Church of Christ, Breinigsville.
She is survived by sons, Jason A., of Williamsburg, Va. and Kyle J., of Allentown; a daughter, Stephanie G. Powers and a granddaughter, Makenna A. Powers, of Charlottesville, Va.

Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville. Visitation will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. Masks are required. Arrangements by the Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
