The Catasauqua and North Catasauqua Halloween parade is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 20. The rain date is Oct. 27.

Reminder: St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., will hold its fifth annual Oktoberfest 5-9 p.m. Oct. 15 and 16. The event will feature homemade foods, seasonal beers, beverages and entertainment by D.H. Productions.
The parking lot area will remain the Bier Garten and will be open to adults only.

Get ready for the Halloween season by visiting the Haunted Pool House event at the Catasauqua Municipal Pool, 501 American St., 6-10 p.m. Oct. 22, 23, 29 and 30. There is a cost.
The concession stand will be open, and all proceeds will benefit the parks and pool.

George Taylor House volunteers are once again offering the Harvest and Haunts event Oct. 30. There will be living history demonstrations, tours of the house and grounds and a bake sale 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
The VIP after-dark tours are planned to run 8 p.m.-midnight. These are limited tours and require preregistration and a signed waiver. Participants must be at least 18 years old for the late-night tours. You can expect to hear personal experiences from both visitors and volunteers while touring the home and its grounds at Lehigh and Poplar streets.
