Nevin J. Kern, 90, formerly of North Whitehall Township, died Oct. 2, 2021, in Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of the late Lucy A. (Bortz) Kern.
Born May 3, 1931, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Guy W. and Marjorie M. (Walsh) Kern.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War era.
He was a custodian at Lehigh Valley Dairy for 18 years and then at the former Stroh Brewery for 20 years.
His survivors include daughters Diane S., wife of Thomas T. Morgan, of Allentown, and Robin L., wife of Michael J. Schroeder, of Kutztown.
A private graveside service with military honors will take place at Egypt Cemetery, Whitehall. There will be no public calling hours.
