Martin J. Horvath, 93, of Orefield, died Sept. 21, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of the late Ardella C. (Keller) Horvath.
Born June 16, 1928, in Upper Macungie Township, he was the son of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Urban) Horvath.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War earning the rank of sergeant.
He was a Purple Heart recipient.
He was a pants presser at the former Modern Clothes, Allentown, for many years before retiring.
His survivors include children Debra J. Fuchs of Coplay, Randy M. Horvath (Joanne) of Fogelsville, and Kelly S. Hunsicker (Todd) of Franklin, Ind.: five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Stephen E. Fuchs, and siblings Hilda, Ida, Helen, Joseph, Carl and John.
His service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
