Thomas F. Martin Jr., 70, of Walnutport, died Oct. 1, 2021, in his residence. He was the husband of Julie A. (Leibenguth) Martin for 49 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Thomas F. Sr. and Pauline D. (Molchany) Martin.

He was a 1969 Catasauqua High School graduate.

He was in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War era.

He was an hospital facility manager for 34 years for Allentown State Hospital until it closed in 2010.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael C. and his wife Melissa of Slatington; a daughter, April L. and her husband Scott Muth of Walnutport; three grandsons, Connor, Nicolas and Zachary; three sisters, Paulette Hoffman and Debra Szabo of Bethlehem and Janette and her husband Kerry Hay of South Carolina; nieces; and nephews.

Services are private.
