To the Editor:
In South Whitehall Township, this is the most important local election in recent memory.
Over the past decade, residents have been rightly outraged by township leaders who approve waivers for massive developments, ignore infrastructure needs, raise taxes, reject calls for increased transparency, and show little interest in ensuring public safety.
Despite present challenges, we have the opportunity to affect change by voting for Brad Osborne, David Kennedy and Monica Hodges on Nov. 2.
As commissioners, they will always put public safety first by upholding development ordinances, as well as providing necessary resources to emergency personnel.
They will work to ensure fiscal accountability through the completion of audits and will carefully consider how your tax dollars are spent.
They will be tireless advocates for farmland preservation and sensible growth, so that our township’s picturesque farms are not forever lost to massive, high-density developments.
Above all else, they are individuals of integrity. They will respect others and work diligently on behalf of all residents.
With them as commissioners, we can take comfort in knowing they will always have residents’ best interests at heart.
Please join me in voting for Brad Osborne, David Kennedy and Monica Hodges on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
