The Northampton golf team knocked off rival Whitehall 386-467 last week ahead of this week’s EPC golf tourney (see page A9).
Dennis Werkheiser led the way with a 76.
Trent Moyer and Jayden Bleiler both shot 77 at Southmoore’s par-71 course. Gavin Pychinka shot 78 as did Michael Seidick.
Keller Repasch shot 84 and Madison Salter had an 87.
For Whitehall, Matt Bernard scored an 85 for the team’s low score. Kristine Landis shot 93. Jayden Kuhn shot a 95. Greg Sommer scored a 101 and Matt Nomie a 103. Kelly Gawad had a 108.

In tennis, the Kids notched a 5-2 win over Eastburg South.
Caitlin Stoudt won by forfeit at one singles, but both Abby Beil and Emma Whitman dropped their two and three singles. Beil lost 6-3, 6-4 while Whitman dropped a close 7-5, 4-6, 10-12 tiebreaker match.
Isabelle Pina and Jillian Bond defeated Layla Joseph Nayla Joseph 8-2 at one doubles.
Isabella Sawrynski and Olivia Tepes defeated Angela Hernandez and Nevelle Thomas 3-6. 6-2 10-7 at two doubles. At three doubles, Caroline Gray and Rachel Zeitner defeated Sydney Ort and Sonali Sharpe 6-1. 6-0
Four doubles action saw Carissa Andrew and Devin Rogozinski defeat McKenzie Patrick and Amelia Iean-Baptiste 6-3. 6-2.
