Tennis online fundraiser continues through Oct. 23

Great job to our Allentown Central Catholic High School cross-country team, who competed in a six-team meet in the Lehigh Parkway Sept. 14.
The Vikings defeated Easton and Northampton, but fell to Nazareth.
Leaders for the boys were students Jacob Demchak, James Freeman and Duke Ebert.
The Vikettes defeated Nazareth and Northampton, but fell to Easton. The girls were led by students Julia Roth and Isabel Izzy Kehoe-Huck.
Congratulations to Viking golfer Nathan Myers, who shot a 63 at Pocono Hills. Myers previously set the school record of 63 at Shawnee Aug. 31.
On Sept. 8, Viking soccer defeated Parkland 1-0.
Vikette soccer competed against Parkland and ended with no score 0-0.
Viking football played against Emmaus Sept. 11 and won 21-0. Excellent job!
Congratulations to ACCHS student Chandler Straub for selection as the Salisbury Field Hockey Character Athlete of the Week. Straub had two goals in a win over Catasauqua.

ACCHS Campus Ministry hosted its annual freshman retreat 3-7 p.m. Sept. 21 in Masson Auditorium.
Led by Father Esposito and Sister Sophia, ninth graders spent time together to get to know each other, while developing a deeper relationship with God. Special thanks to our National Honor Society members and mentors who helped organize the events and activities.
Meet the Teacher Night was held Sept. 23 at ACCHS. Parents and guardians were able to walk through their students’ schedule and learn about each class and meet the teachers.
