Volunteers are desperately needed for the Salisbury Elementary School PTO annual purse bingo fundraiser at Salisbury Middle School. Doors open noon with bingo starting promptly 1 p.m. Oct. 3. Come on out and bring your friends and family.

Extra events include: basket raffles, special bingo books and 50/50 tickets. If you are interested in purchasing a lunch from Johnny’s Bagel & Deli, orders must be placed in advance. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase.

There will be an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. Oct. 6 with the school board meeting immediately following at the administrative building.

Salisbury Township yard waste drop off sites are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Franko Farm will be open Oct. 4. The Devonshire site will be open Oct. 2. The Color-a-Thon and Fling Spring After Party will be held Oct. 16 at Salisbury Elementary School. Registration is noon to 12:45 p.m. and the event begins 1 p.m. The event is being held to help support field trips and other activities throughout the year for the students.
