Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be having a bag sale Oct. 4-9. This includes all items in the store, unless otherwise marked.

The thrift shop will be closed Oct. 11-13 for cleaning and changeover.

The shop will reopen Oct. 14 with all new clothing for fall and winter.

Regular hours at the shop are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Donations of good, used, clean clothing are welcomed during store hours. Proceeds are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

The J4 Celebration is set for July 2, 2022, at the North Catasauqua William J. Albert Park Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.

North Catasauqua Betterment Committee’s Autumnfest and car show is 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 10 at the park.

The rain date will be Oct. 16.

There will be food, live music, crafts and a flea market.

Toys for Tots will be holding a toy drop, or attendees can make a monetary donation to help a child this holiday season.
