Moore Township: Emmanuel’s Church plans Oct. 2 fall flea market, bake sale
Emmanuel’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, is planning to hold a fall flea market and bake sale 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 2.
There will be crafts, yard sale items, antiques, baked goods and food. Vendors are welcome.

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, will be holding a fall bazaar, scheduled for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 2.
The kitchen will be open.
The rain date will be noon-2 p.m. Oct. 3.

Moore Township Community Days committee is holding a live music event 6-10 p.m. Oct. 8, featuring the band Stereotype.
The event will be held at the Moore Township Recreation Center, located off English Road and Route 946. No outside food or beverages are allowed.
The committee is also hosting a sportsman bingo event Oct. 8 at the Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company hall, 2718 Mountain View Drive.
Doors open 5:30 p.m. Games begin 6:30 p.m.
The kitchen will be open, and the event is BYOB.
Tickets will also be sold in person at Lattemann’s Deli, 2716 Community Drive.

Moore Township Historical Commission will be hosting an Oktoberfest dinner 6-9:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Klecknersville Rangers fire hall, 2718 Mountain View Drive.
The guest speaker will be Larry Oberly, an area historian from Allen Township.

Northampton County Department of Public Works is holding a free document shredding event 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 16 for residents of Northampton County at the Department of Human Services, 2801 Emrick Blvd., Bethlehem.
Residents are limited to three boxes or bags per vehicle with a 25-pound weight limit per box or bag.
Accepted items include accounting records, canceled checks, pay stubs, financial statements, investment transactions, legal documents, medical records, tax forms, etc. Staples, paper clips, rubber bands and folders are accepted.
Unacceptable materials include junk mail, magazines, catalogs, photographs, negatives and X-rays. Ring binders, metal strips and plastic sheet protectors or coverings will be refused.
