LeRoy (Lee) Joseph Berg Jr., 85, of the Emmaus area, died peacefully Sept. 17, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Cathy Berg. He was the son of the late Frieda and LeRoy Berg.

He grew up in East Greenville and was in the first graduating class of Upper Perkiomen High School, was a past president of the East Penn School Board, served as Governor of Pennsylvania District of Kiwanis (1997-1998) and was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.

He was a happy man with a big heart, who loved being with his family and friends, playing cards, golfing and eating ice cream. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids camping and attending sporting events.

He is survived by his loving wife; children, David, of Catasauqua, Terry (Sandy), of Allentown, Dana (Shelley), of Schnecksville, Susan Miller, of Emmaus, Andrew (Shawn), of Macungie and stepdaughter, Loretta Belovich-Puente (Pablo), of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Kelly Rissell, Melissa Frey, Christopher, Nicolas Puente, Brian Yount, Steven Yount, Nicholas, Eric, Jeremy, Bea, Ryan, Aaron, Jason, Sean; eight great-grandchildren.
