Esther M. Span, 84, formerly of Emmaus, died peacefully Sept. 19, 2021, at Phoebe Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Warren F. and Esther A. (Reiss) Wertman.

She is survived by a son, James W. Wertman and his wife, Tracey and their children, James T. Wertman and his wife, Dawn and Ashley M. Wertman and her companion, Scott; a great-granddaughter, Mackenzie.
