Oregon State University
Heffelfinger named to honor roll
Morgan J. Heffelfinger, of Northampton, a senior majoring in digital communication arts at Oregon State University, earned the scholastic honor roll for the spring 2021 semester. A total of 7,255 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

Students earn degrees
During the May 24 commencement ceremonies, Lehigh University conferred 1,295 bachelor’s degrees, 549 master’s degrees and 104 doctoral degrees. Of the nearly 2,000 graduates, degree recipients came from 45 states and 36 countries outside of the United States.

DeSales University, in Center Valley, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City. A total enrollment of nearly 3,500 includes undergraduate day and evening students and graduate students. DeSales has approximately 135 full-time faculty members and offers more than 40 bachelor’s degrees, 12 graduate programs and more than 20 certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines. Many of these can be completed fully online.

Yalamarti named to dean’s list
Suhas Yalamarti, of Bath, made the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Founded in 1848, Muhlenberg is a highly selective, private, four-year residential, liberal arts college located in Allentown. With an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 2,200 students, Muhlenberg College is dedicated to shaping creative, compassionate, collaborative leaders through rigorous academic programs in the arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences as well as selected preprofessional programs, including accounting, business, education and public health. The college is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Susquehanna University congratulates its dean’s list students. The dean’s list recognizes students who achieve a GPA of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester.

Alulis, Evans named to honor society
Cedar Crest College is happy to announce Rachael Alulis, of Whitehall, and Jessica Evans, of Walnutport, were inducted into the Delphi Society for the spring 2021 semester in recognition of outstanding academic achievements. Delphi is the college’s honor society for undergraduate students. Students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.8 at the end of their junior or senior year are recognized as members.
