Roger J. Tice, 84, of Fogelsville, died Sept. 15, 2021, in his home.

He was the husband of Susan J. (Kremer) Tice.

Born Aug. 17, 1937, in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Willard and Christine (Lichtenwalner) Tice.

He worked at Palmeri Transporation for nine years before retiring.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during a peacetime era before the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the Civil War Round Table, the National Speleological Society, and All Frets.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Melanie Jo Schiffert and her husband, Thomas, of Fogelsville; grandson Thomas Schiffert of Allentown; granddaughter Tara Schiffert of Fogelsville; and grandniece Courtney Sink of Fogelsville.

His service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours.
