Melvin W. Kletzli, 84, of Breinigsville, died Sept. 12, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife, Betty (Long) Kletzli, would have been married 61 years next month.
He was a son of the late John and Thelma (Best) Kletzli.
He retired as the manager of service administration and service operations for Mack Trucks after 29 years.
As well as being a loving husband and father, he loved his country having served in the Army’s 101st Airborne.
He was active in his community as a volunteer with Junior Achievement, the Lehigh Valley Association for the Blind, a youth group leader and adult Sunday School teacher for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Dana Fritz (Matthew) of Kempton and Matthew Kletzli (Michelle) of Ft. Myers, Fla.; brother Nelson Kletzli of Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews.
