The Salisbury Elementary School PTO is hosting their annual purse bingo fundraiser at Salisbury Middle School. Doors open at noon with bingo starting promptly 1 p.m. Oct. 3. Come on out and bring your friends and family. Extra events include: basket raffles, special bingo books and 50/50 tickets. If you are interested in purchasing a lunch from Johnny’s Bagel & Deli, orders must be placed in advance. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. Tickets are offered at a reduced rate if purchased in advance. Salisbury High School starts the night with a dual enrollment meeting 6 p.m. Sept. 23, immediately followed by an open house 6:45-9 p.m.

The SHS guidance office will hold a financial aid night 6:30-8 p.m. Sept. 27. If you have a junior or senior heading to college, this is a great meeting to attend.

There will be an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. Oct. 6 with the school board meeting immediately following at the administrative building.

The Pioneer Band of Allentown will perform a concert at the grove of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church 1 p.m. Sept. 26.

Salisbury Township yard waste drop off sites are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Franko Farm will be open Sept. 23, 25 and Oct. 4.
