Thanks to Mrs. Heinz and Mrs. George-Martell, Sheckler received a little makeover. Pictures have been posted on the school’s Facebook page. You can check out the wall murals with some helping hands!

Catasauqua Area School District has suspended the curbside meal service program. Students who are learning remotely, however, are able to order meals for pickup as an alternative.

If you are a parent or guardian of a remote CASD student and would like to order weekly school meals, send an email to nagyl@cattysd.org by noon every Wednesday. The email should include the student’s name, grade and the dates covered by the meals that you are requesting.

Each week, you will receive five days’ worth of meals that will include a breakfast and a lunch for each weekday.

Orders are picked up 9:30 a.m. every Thursday. Ring the doorbell at the kitchen door, right in front of Sheckler. This is the same area where curbside services have been offered in the past.

Sheckler is enforcing a buildingwide mask mandate that will remain effective until at least Oct. 1. The mandate will also apply to Catasauqua Middle School and Catasauqua High School.

If students are socially distanced, they are not required to wear face coverings during outdoor activities.
