Roughie Roundup: two girls in top-20
In girls soccer action, Catty fell 6-3 to Bangor.
The Slaters jumped out to a huge lead in the first half, taking control with a 5-1 lead. Julia Pinter scored two goals in the half but it was Camryn Smith on a Pinter assist that got things rolling four minutes in. Maddie Martin made it 2-0 and would add a second goal in the second half.
Madison Harth cut the lead to 2-1 but the Slaters scored the next three goals and the first one of the second half to go up 6-1.
Catty would cut it to 6-3 after Kaylee Weidaw scored twice within a couple of minutes.
Catty also fell to Notre Dame GP 1-0.
Emma Altmire’s first half goal from Emily Lessig was all the Crusaders needed.

In boys soccer, Notre Dame won 9-1 over Catty.
B. Boyle had five goals to lead the way, Francesco D’Avella, R. Miller, C. Bohn and I. Duffy each had one goal in the win. D’Vella and Miller both had two assists.
Vinicius Takahashi had Catty’s goal on a penalty kick. Wesley Fotta made five saves as the Crusaders fired off 33 shots and Catty had 11.

In field hockey, Catty fell 6-0 to Northwestern.
Cara Thomas led the way for the Tigers with two goals.
Catty had a defensive save by Jesenia Acevedo, a defensive save by Haylie Toth and a defensive save by Chloe Moyer. Keeper Sophia Becker had 11 saves.

In volleyball, Catty lost to the Tigers 3-0, 25-13, 25-11 and 25-4. Jenna Breininger Jr had 12 kills, 5 aces for the Tigers.
Catty fell to Saucon Valley 3-0 with no other information available.

In cross country, last week Catty fell to the Tigers and the Bombers but beat the Bulldogs in boys action.
Dominik Lisicky of Southern Lehigh won the boys race with a time of 16:54.
Catty’s highest finisher was Trevor Regits who took 39th with a time of 21:34.

In girls action, Catty beat Palmerton and Northern Lehigh but fell to Northwestern.
Two Catty runners finished in the top-20 as Alivia Bear was 13th and Lucy Brubaker took 16th. Bear’s time was 23:41 and Brubaker’s time was 24:27.
