St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church’s drive-thru steak sandwich pickup is 4-5:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the parish hall, 435 Pershing Blvd.

The Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will host the next cash bingo Sept. 26.

Doors open 1 p.m., and bingo begins 2 p.m.

Refreshments will be sold before bingo. There will be a 50/25/25 drawing as well as a tricky tray raffle.

The last bingo game has a big jackpot.

The men’s breakfast group of St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will next meet 8:30 a.m. Oct. 2 at the Hamilton Family Restaurant, 2027 Hamilton St., Allentown.

All are welcome to join.

St. John’s UCC will be having a takeout chicken dinner Oct. 8.

The dinner includes half a chicken, baked potato with sour cream and butter, coleslaw, corn, roll and butter.

The meal is prepared by Fairview Catering in Whitehall.

The meals will be available for pickup in 15-minute increments 4-6 p.m. in the Grape Street parking lot.

There will also be baked goods available for purchase.

The deadline to order is Oct. 3.
