Assault

Evan Bruce Nagle, 22, of Allentown, was taken into custody after he allegedly fought with state troopers who found him unconscious at a location on Pheasant Court, Lower Macungie Township, 12:04 p.m. Aug. 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. In a media release the situation was described as follows: troopers determined Nagle allegedly had overdosed and attempted to administer Narcan®. Nagle, however, became conscious and combative, allegedly kicking one trooper in the face and a second trooper in the chest and also allegedly attempted to bite the trooper. Nagle also allegedly removed one trooper’s Taser from its holster.

Theft from vehicle

A catalytic converter, valued at $180, was removed from a 2008 silver Honda Element while it was parked at Ciocca Subaru used car lot, 4611 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between July 23 and Aug. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Identity theft

A resident of Sunrise Avenue, Lower Macungie Township, discovered her personal information was used to open an unemployment claim after she received a letter notifying her of the claim Aug. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A resident of Corning Road, Upper Milford Township, discovered her personal information was used to make a fraudulent unemployment claim in her name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 17.

A resident of Shiloh Road, Lower Macungie Township, discovered her personal information was used to fraudulently claim unemployment benefits after she received a payment, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 25.

A resident of Periwinkle Drive, Lower Macungie Township, discovered his personal information was used to fraudulently claim unemployment benefits after he received an email inquiry from his employer, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 21.

A resident of Knollwood Drive, Upper Milford Township, learned her personal information was used to attempt to open an unemployment claim in her name after her employer informed her of the claim, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 5.

A resident of Aronimink Place, Lower Macungie Township, discovered her personal information was used to attempt to claim unemployment benefits after her employer notified her of the fraudulent claim, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI

A 22-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a crash in the 7000 block of Tuscany Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:42 a.m. Aug. 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
