Grejda leads team at DeSales Invitational
The Salisbury cross country team competed in last weekend’s 42nd Annual Centaur Invitational Cross Country meet at DeSales University.
Nolan Grejda led the Falcons with a 155th-place finish to help the team to a 30th-place finish in team standings.
Rounding out the Falcon line up at DeSales were Louis Mongilutz (176th), Joseph Tiao (179th), Thomas Lovelidge (109th), Charlie Morton (191st) and Cameron Kubinsky (200th).
Northwestern Lehigh’s Sam Bower won the boys race, beating Freedom’s Alex Heidemann by five seconds to help the Tigers take the boys team title over second-place Parkland.
In girls competition, reigning state champ Olivia Haas won by a minute and 48 seconds over second-place Sarah Pezzino (Pen Argyl).
Southern Lehigh won the girls team title over second-place Parkland.
