The Lehigh Valley’s oldest golf tournament, Walla Gazoo, was held at the Bethlehem Golf Club Aug. 16 with a full complement of 144 golfers participating. Presented annually by the Bethlehem Chamber at the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, Walla Gazoo is the largest annual fundraiser for the city’s Chamber office. Angela DelGrosso, senior vice president of the Bethlehem Chamber, said the money raised would support Chamber programs such as grants issued to businesses to assist them during the COVID pandemic. The winning foursome was Pete Fox, Aaron Thieme, Mike Dontas, Sr. and Scott Kalamar. Brad Baum won the pot of gold; Amy Saul had the longest drive among the women; and, Mike Dontas Sr. had the longest drive among the men.
