Upper Macungie Township will show the movie “Playing with Fire” Sept. 10 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.

Activities begin at 7 p.m. with the movie starting at dusk.

Food trucks will be on site.

The township and Plant Pilates owner and ASFA Certified Fitness instructor Marlana Betesh will offer a combination of Pilates and nutrition class 6 p.m. Tuesdays until Sept. 28 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.

This Pilates-HIT blend is aimed to burn fat with a dynamic mixture of classic and modern Pilates exercises.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1028 Main St., Fogelsville, will serve its free community dinner 5-7 p.m. Sept. 17.

Dinners will be available either with curbside pickup in the church parking lot or in fellowship hall depending on the current COVID-19 situation.

All are welcome to attend.

The basket social will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 25.

Takeout food will be available to purchase the day of the basket social. Preview night will be 6-8 p.m. Sept. 24.

Winners will be drawn at the end of the event and contacted by phone.

The Mission Team at Ziegel’s Union Church, 9990 Ziegel’s Church Road, Breinigsville, will host its shrimp boil 4-6 p.m. Sept. 19 at the church.

Meal includes salad, half pound of shrimp (quarter pound of shrimp for children’s meals), sausage, potatoes, corn, drink and dessert.

Proceeds will be used for work in disaster relief or recovery missions.
