The Northampton Invitational took place this past weekend. The impressive event feature a K-Kid boy and girl finishing in the top-20 against tough competition from all over the state.

On the boys side, Zeke Colyer took 13th and was the team’s highest boy finisher with a time of 16:50.90. Freshman Abel Veltri took 34th and Evan Dempsey was 45th.

On the girls side, Wes Burkit was 17th with a time of 20:13.30

Gary Martin of Archbishop Wood won the event with a time of 15:13.4, he was well ahead of second place finisher Garrett Ferguson of Frankfort who had a time of 15:58.

Penncrest’s Ruby Schwelm was the girls winner with a time of 18:34, nearly 30 seconds ahead of Emmaus’ Hailey Reinhard who was second in 19:03.
