Thomas C. Shirley, 90, of Schuylkill Haven, died Aug. 30, 2021, at home.

The husband of Carol W. (Snyder) Shirley, the couple would have been married 67 years this month.

Born in Vandergrift, he was the son of the late Clair and Edna (Luther) Shirley.

He was a steelworker for the former Homestead Steel Works, Pittsburgh, and then for U.S. Fairless Steel Corp., Morrisville, for many years.

He was a member of the Lynn, Heidelberg Historical Society.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Timothy (Cecelia) of Yardley and Michael (Roberta) of Fort Myers; grandchildren Alyssa, Tyler, Taniqua, and Michael; and great-grandchild Lincoln.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Corinne Shirley, and a brother, Ward.
