Good luck to the Whitehall High School Zephyr varsity football team, who will be hosting the Liberty Hurricanes 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the home field.

Patriot Day, which this year marks the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks, is Sept. 11. We reflect on the bravery of all of the innocent American citizens and first responders who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy.

On Sept. 12, stop by Commitment to Family and Community, 165 Cherry St., Coplay, and attend Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative’s cash bingo. Doors open 1 p.m., and bingo starts 2 p.m.

Bring your own bingo chips and dabbers and a food item for the WCHI Food Pantry. The bingo fee of $15 will include 15 board games and five paper specials.

Face masks are required at this event.
